Lite trackpad
The Lite is the current entry-level model and succeeds the Mousetrapper Office. It features the recognisable Mousetrapper ‘mat’. It also has left and right mouse buttons and scroll buttons. The Lite version is suitable for administrative and less intensive mouse work. The Lite connects to your PC or Mac via a USB cable.
Advance 2.0+ hygienic trackpad
The difference between the 2.0 and the 2.0+ lies in the wrist rests. On the 2.0, these are made of polyester, which can only be cleaned to some extent with a damp cloth. The 2.0+ features leather wrist rests. These are easy to clean with disinfectants.

Design that makes everyday life easier
Product development: Mousetrapper
In 1994, Rolf Strömberg devised the first version of the Mousetrapper as an alternative to the ‘standard’ mouse. When you see the first version, you immediately understand where the name came from. A standard mouse was secured in a holder and you moved the cursor with a steel rod. Three years later, the design was updated with an integrated wrist rest, and it was only in 2001 that the basis for the current Mousetrappers was established.
The idea behind the Mousetrapper’s design is simple. By positioning the mouse centrally in front of your body, you can adopt a healthier working posture. This is because you can keep your arms closer to your body. This prevents you from overextending your arm. Furthermore, since 1997, every Mousetrapper has been fitted with integrated wrist rests to provide better support whilst operating the mouse and typing on your keyboard.
The Mousetrapper works like a trackpad. The main difference is that you don’t move your finger across the surface, but the entire surface moves itself. This allows you to move the cursor with greater ‘feel’, making it more suitable for precision work. The surface is made of rubber for optimal grip.
The design, development and production processes all take place in Sweden. By managing every stage of the process in-house, Mousetrapper guarantees quality.

Good for your body
The Mousetrapper is an alternative to the conventional mouse. A standard flat mouse can cause discomfort in your forearm, elbow, shoulders and neck. The design of the Mousetrapper encourages a better working posture, keeping your arms close to your body and allowing you to operate both the keyboard and the mouse within shoulder width. You no longer need to reach for the mouse, and switching between the mouse and the keyboard requires only a small movement. In addition to a better working posture, the integrated wrist rest provides just that little bit more comfort for your wrist whilst typing.
Product reviews
After years of neck, arm and shoulder complaints, the Mousetrapper mouse has been my saviour; I simply can no longer tolerate a standard mouse due to the working posture it requires. Working with the Mousetrapper ensures I can maintain a relaxed working posture where my shoulders do not tense up but remain against the backrest, and my forearms rest loosely on the armrests. A nice bonus is that a number of frequently used commands can be freely assigned to the control buttons. The only issue is that when scrolling via the trackpad, the cursor sometimes runs away with the page. All in all, I can say that the Mousetrapper keeps me working. - Pieter
