The Glovii heated socks come in two sizes: M (shoe size 35-40) and L (shoe size 41-46). If you are on the edge of two sizes, choose the smaller one: the sock transfers its warmth best when it fits closely. You control the warmth with a remote, without taking off your shoe.

When do you choose heated socks?

Cold feet are often the first thing to act up when you sit or stand still in the cold, and the last thing to warm up again. Thick socks only insulate the warmth that is already there. Heated socks add warmth of their own, exactly where you feel it. Useful during outdoor work or winter sports, but just as good at home or at the office if your feet always feel cold.

What should you look for when choosing?

The right size

Size M fits shoe sizes 35-40, size L fits 41-46. If in doubt, choose the smaller size: a close-fitting sock warms best, and thanks to the elastane there is plenty of stretch.

Does it fit in your shoe?

The socks are nice and thick but fit in most shoes. They reach to just below the knee; the battery compartment sits at the top, outside your shoe.

The range

This category currently holds one model: the Glovii heated socks. Our range of heated socks will be expanded further this autumn.

Cold hands too? Then have a look at the heated gloves; for your torso there are heated vests and body warmers.

Tips for using heated socks

  • Put the socks on before your feet get cold: staying warm takes less energy than warming up.
  • Use the remote to change the setting without taking off your shoe.
  • If in doubt, choose the smaller size for the best heat transfer.
  • Remove the battery from the compartment before washing the socks; wash at 40 degrees and let them dry flat.

Frequently asked questions about heated socks

  • Do heated socks fit in regular shoes?

Yes. The socks are thicker than a regular sock, but fit in most shoes. The battery compartment sits at the top of the sock, just below the knee, so outside your shoe.

  • Do heated socks help against cold feet?

Yes, that is exactly what they are made for: they actively add warmth instead of only insulating. If you have persistently cold feet due to a medical cause, discuss with your doctor what is sensible.

  • Who are heated socks suitable for?

For anyone whose feet get cold quickly: during outdoor work, winter sports or walking, but also indoors at the office or at home on the sofa. The Glovii heated socks are available for shoe sizes 35 up to and including 46.

  • Which size heated socks do I need?

Size M fits shoe sizes 35-40, size L fits 41-46. If you are on the edge, choose the smaller size: the sock transfers its warmth best when it fits closely on your foot.
