An ode to the Relax footrest

An office job can be quite tiring at times. Hours of meetings, customer service, getting coffee, writing product texts, chatting with colleagues. It's nice if you can put your feet up at your desk for a bit.

Why the Relax footrest?

Correct posture

The Relax footrest ensures that your feet and legs receive sufficient support when you are sitting at your desk. With the help of a footrest, you can push yourself properly into your office chair, allowing you to adopt an ergonomic posture. This can, for example, reduce complaints in the (lower) back. In addition, a footrest ensures relaxed muscles and improved blood circulation. Finally, a footrest can offer a solution when your desk or office chair is not adjustable.

Leg rest

The Relax footrest is equipped with a special leg rest. With the help of this leg rest, you can rest your legs at a height of 360 mm. Because the leg rest is covered with a foam rubber casing, you will not experience a pressing sensation on your calves.

Please note: do not rest your Achilles tendon (tendon just above the heel) on the support. This way, your legs will sag, which can lead to knee complaints.

What makes the Relax footrest so good?

Sturdy support

The platform of the Relax footrest is made of very sturdy plastic and the frame is manufactured from powder-coated tubular material. On the underside of the Relax footrest are four anti-slip feet to prevent slipping. When you combine all these features, you get a very sturdy footrest that can take a knock.

Adjustable

The Relax footrest is adjustable to three different heights. Adjustment is possible by manually sliding the foot platform into the designated grooves in the frame. The heights of the platform thus vary between the following heights: 95 mm, 125 mm, 155 mm.

The footrest platform is also steplessly tiltable. This allows for full forward and backward tilting. Unfortunately, it is not possible to lock the platform at a specific angle. Fortunately, there is a fair amount of resistance on the axle, so the platform remains in the desired position. Assembling the Relax footrest is a breeze. You do not need any mounting materials for this.
