Why the KAPSUL VLIP?

A sitting ball, only slimmer

The Vluv KAPSUL VLIP is a sitting ball in the shape of a capsule. It is narrower than a round sitting ball, so it fits more easily under a small desk and you keep more room for your legs. The KAPSUL VLIP does feel like a sitting ball: it gives a little as you move and you naturally balance a bit.

Moving while you work

On the KAPSUL VLIP you never sit completely still. Your body keeps making small corrections, without you thinking about it. That bouncing and balancing is what a sitting ball is all about. And because there is no backrest, the KAPSUL VLIP invites you to sit upright.

Soft corduroy in five colours

The cover of the KAPSUL VLIP is made of wide-wale corduroy, a sturdy upholstery fabric of 100% polyester. Vluv makes it in five mottled colours: Beige, Navy, Nougat, Olive and Rosewood. What makes the KAPSUL VLIP so good?

Always stands upright again

There is a stabilising weight in the base of the cover. As a result, the KAPSUL VLIP does not roll away when you stand up and tilts back into place by itself. The underside has a non-slip silicone layer, so it also stays put on a smooth floor.

Handle to carry it

There is a sturdy loop on the side of the KAPSUL VLIP. This lets you carry it to another room with one hand or move it aside for a moment. It weighs about 2.9 kg.

Also as a pouffe or for stretching

Lay the KAPSUL VLIP on its side and you have a pouffe or a large cushion. According to Vluv, you can also do more than twenty stretching exercises on it, for your upper body, core and legs.

Sit down calmly the first time

The KAPSUL VLIP is deliberately a little unstable. So sit down calmly the first few times, not with momentum and not leaning back. Take your time until you have found your balance. Vluv gives the same advice in the safety instructions for the KAPSUL.

Assembling and inflating

The stabilising weight is already in the cover of the KAPSUL VLIP. You slide the inner capsule into it and inflate it with the included hand pump, until the cover is taut and free of creases. Allow about a quarter of an hour. The firmer you inflate it, the higher you sit.

Measure first

Choose the size of the KAPSUL VLIP based on your body height and your desk. Medium suits people from 150 to 180 cm at a standard desk of about 72 cm. Small is for people from 120 to 150 cm, at a desk you can adjust in height.

Washing

Does the cover of the KAPSUL VLIP need freshening up? It can go in the wash at 30°C.
