An ode to the KAPSUL SOVA sitting ball

Meet the KAPSUL sitting ball (also known as a sitting capsule): the supermodel among seating furniture! As the sleek and elegant successor to VLUV’s BOL sitting balls, the KAPSUL offers the perfect balance between comfort, style, and space-saving. Why the KAPSUL SOVA sitting ball?

The Vluv sitting balls and capsules ensure an upright and active sitting posture. This stimulates blood circulation and trains the back, pelvic, and neck muscles. It is recommended to use the sitting ball for a maximum of three hours per day. So, alternate regularly with your office chair.

Sitting for long periods can make you drowsy, which negatively impacts your concentration and productivity. A sitting ball keeps you active because its mobility stimulates your muscles and promotes blood circulation. Therefore, using a sitting ball not only increases your productivity but also strengthens your muscles.

Please note; the KAPSUL requires some balance, significantly more than the BOL from VLUV. Sit down carefully.

What makes the KAPSUL SOVA sitting ball so good?

Thanks to its double-stitched seams, the KAPSUL is suitable for daily use. The handle makes it easy to lift with one hand. A metal disc is located in the bottom of the outer cover, which keeps the sitting ball in place. This prevents it from rolling away or tipping over when you stand up.

Due to its slim design, it takes up about 40% less space than VLUV's sitting balls. Depending on how much you inflate it, the seat height is 48 to 52 cm high. According to the manufacturer, this makes the sitting ball suitable for people between 155 and 195 cm. However, we have personally found that 185 cm is the maximum height for ergonomic use. We therefore expect that multiple sizes of the KAPSUL will be produced in the future.

Get the most out of your KAPSUL SOVA sitting ball

You can inflate the KAPSUL yourself with the included pump. Nozzles are also supplied, allowing you to use a bicycle pump or compressor to inflate the sitting ball. The very strong, seamless PVC inner ball is protected by a YKK zip.

The exterior of the sitting ball is made of 100% polyester and is woven in a canvas-like fabric. The exterior can be washed at 30°. The beautiful finish and chic appearance also make the KAPSUL suitable for the living room. The maximum load capacity is 150 kg.
