An ode to the WEDO EDV

The saying goes "procrastination leads to cancellation", because it's true. We would like to introduce the following saying: adjustment leads to recovery. And with the WEDO EDV, there's a lot to adjust!

Why the WEDO EDV footrest?

The WEDO footrest has a very sturdy steel construction. The large platform gives your feet more than enough space, and the anti-slip surface ensures you don't slide off. The footrest stands on two legs at the front and two at the back (four in total). Each leg is adjustable to 6 different heights.

Furthermore, you can tilt both the two front and rear legs as a whole slightly higher or lower. There are four settings for this. You can also tilt the platform by setting the rear higher than the front. Adjustments must be made manually.

What makes a footrest so good?

A footrest is recommended if, when sitting with your feet flat on the floor, you do not have a right angle between your lower and upper legs. A footrest provides height from the floor, thus restoring a natural sitting posture and preventing discomfort.

Optimal ergonomic working is never about the (correct) use of just one product. Therefore, experiment not only with the different heights of the footrest but also the height of your chair and, if possible, your desk. It is the combination of the three that will optimise your sitting posture.
