An ode to the Fellowes Hana™
Go a little wild
Fellowes never goes wild. If you want a footrest, you get one. Nothing about it is exaggerated, although the design is certainly impressive. A luxurious look for a product you tuck away under your desk and put your feet on… Fellowes, don't be so wild!
Why the Fellowes Hana™ Footrest?
The stylish Fellowes footrest is easy to use and elegant in its looks. The support has two settings. The foot-operated pedal ensures you don't have to crawl under your desk to adjust your footrest. This can be done with your feet. The platform features anti-slip strips to prevent you from sliding off.
In both settings, there is a slight give in the support, allowing it to bend slightly more to the position of your feet for optimal support. A sliding mechanism on the base of the support allows the spring stiffness to be set to a light or heavy setting. This determines how easily the support moves up and down.
What makes a footrest so good?
A footrest is recommended if, when sitting with your feet flat on the floor, you don't have a right angle between your lower and upper legs. A footrest provides height from the floor, thus restoring a natural sitting posture and preventing discomfort.
Get the most out of this product
Optimal ergonomic working never comes down to the (correct) use of just one product. Therefore, experiment not only with the different heights of the footrest but also the height of your chair and, if possible, your desk. It is the combination of the three that will optimise your sitting posture.

The manual, downloadable on the right, creates the expectation of a very flexible platform in both settings. However, we have found that this play, especially when used while sitting, is minimal.
