Why the Ergohuman Ultra office chair?

New look, better components

The New Ergohuman Ultra has been updated! Not only in looks, but also in performance. It has become a notch better than its more expensive predecessor. For example, the lumbar support now has adjustable counter-pressure that can be tightened by up to 40%.

The Ultra is also equipped with 4D armrests. The front part of the armrest can tilt upwards, providing extra support when, for example, reading a book or holding a phone.

Highly adjustable office chair

The Ergohuman Ultra office chair has many adjustable components. The seat, seat depth, and back tilt can all be adjusted with one modest lever. There is an additional small lever to also tilt the seat. This can be tilted 2 degrees negatively (forwards). This also applies to the back, which can assume a 6-degree negative tilt. You can adjust the backrest from a seated position. If you are a little less flexible (or a bodybuilder), it's best to stand up briefly to adjust the back. The armrest is 5D and can be adjusted in the following ways:

Plastic components

The Ultra's five-star base is made of durable plastic and can therefore withstand a knock. The casing of the synchro-mechanism is also made of this material. The use of plastic makes the colour scheme much sleeker and gives it a clean look.

Mesh (net-covered) seat and back

The Ultra has a net-covered seat and back. It provides a slightly different sitting experience than a padded fabric seat, but breathes better and is particularly pleasant in the warm summer months. The tensioning has been designed to provide support, comfort, and pressure relief in the right places. In total, there are 12 such zones built into the seat, lumbar support, and backrest.

Ultra adjustability

The Ergohuman Ultra is quite a large chair by itself. Fortunately, its adjustability allows it to fit many human sizes. The seat height can be adjusted between 45 and 55 cm. The seat can slide 5 cm, the headrest is 8 cm height-adjustable and 55 degrees tiltable, the back can tilt a total of 138 degrees, and the back is 6.5 cm height-adjustable. The armrests, in particular, offer extra adjustability, allowing you to position them well under your shoulders.

Tiltable backrest with counter-pressure

The Ultra's backrest can be unlocked, allowing you to sit more actively. You can adjust the counter-pressure using the extra rotating lever. Choose a counter-pressure that prevents you from simply falling backwards, but also one that doesn't torpedo you out of your chair.
