Get the most out of your Ergopro Control

Sitting comfortably

To work as comfortably as possible, you need to adjust your office chair correctly. Follow the steps below to always get the right setup.

1. Make sure your feet are flat on the floor.
2. Adjust the height of the chair. The correct position is when the angle between your upper and lower leg is 90° or slightly higher. When your hips are just slightly higher than your knees, your legs are well supported.
3. Sit all the way back in the chair.
4. Adjust the seat depth so that your fist fits between the edge of the seat and the back of your knee.
5. Sit back against the backrest and make sure the lumbar support is at the right height — typically just above your waistband.
6. Adjust the lumbar support so it feels comfortable and doesn't push you forward out of the chair.
7. Sit with relaxed shoulders and adjust the armrests so they just support your forearms at a 90-degree angle.
8. Adjust the height of your desk so that the armrests are level with the desktop surface.

Foldable armrests

These height-adjustable armrests replace the standard armrests and can easily be folded away when you don't need them or when they're in the way.

On the underside of the foldable armrests there is a wheel that lets you lock the armrest at your desired angle. A little higher, a little lower — it's adjusted in no time.

Lockable 4D arm pads

These arm pads replace the standard pads and are slightly thicker and more comfortable thanks to the use of softer material. They're not silky-soft cushions, though — they still provide sufficient support.

Epron RV Quick Adjust mechanism

A bit of a mouthful, but this mechanism offers just a little more than the already quite complete standard mechanism. The Epron RV includes the following extras:

• Heavy-duty backrest rated up to 160 kilograms
• Quick adjust weight control — back counter-pressure adjustable from 60–160 kg in 6 steps
• Backrest independently tiltable up to 8 degrees from the seat using a rotary knob

Low and high gas spring

This option doesn't need much explanation — it changes the maximum and minimum seat height of the chair. Ideal when users are shorter or taller than average, or when the workstation is higher than usual. In the latter case, make sure the user still receives adequate support, for example with the help of a footrest.

Coat hanger

This option ensures you don't have to do your rounds in a creased jacket. Mounted on the back of the chair, it's chrome-plated and holds your jacket with care and style.

Upholstery (for the undecided)

The Ergopro Control Duo 24-hour chair is partially upholstered in fabric and genuine leather. The centre section of both the seat and the backrest is covered in fabric, giving you extra grip in all conditions. It is also possible to have the fabric finished in a different colour for a sportier look.
