This chair is designed according to the new NPR 1813:2025 guideline and has been tested for dimensions according to NEN‑EN 1335 (type A) and NPR 1813:2025. This primarily means one thing: it is made to fit a great many Dutch body types, even if you are a bit taller (or shorter) than "average".

An NPR chair is particularly good because there's a lot to adjust. But that only really works if you take the time to find the right settings. Start simply: set your seat height correctly, adjust your seat depth (10 cm adjustable) and then tackle the lumbar support.

Seat depth: the quickest win

Slide the seat so that your knees remain free. You want support under your thighs, but no pressure in the back of your knees. As a rule of thumb: keep about a few fingers' width of space between the front of the seat and the back of your knees.
