Why the Bodycool T-Shirt?

For the tough ones

The Bodycool T-Shirt is made for true athletes who aren't deterred even by the heat. With the help of this t-shirt, you won't notice the warmth (okay, slightly less than). The Bodycool t-shirt is designed to cool the body by 15ºC compared to the ambient temperature. This is pleasant when, for example, you have a running training session in full sun, or are doing CrossFit in a room without air conditioning. The degree of cooling depends on the airflow. Finally, the garment works optimally at low to medium humidity levels.

Evaporation

Activate in water

The t-shirt can be (re)activated by submerging it in water for a maximum of 2 minutes. Gently squeeze the excess water out of the shirt (do not wring!). Then put on the shirt and do your training (or other activities where you could use cooling). The shirt provides cooling through evaporation. These cooling zones are located on the upper back and chest. Thanks to this clever technology, you stay comfortably cool for 2 to 8 hours, depending on the conditions. Has the shirt stopped working? Simply submerge it again and you're ready for another round.

Durable fabric

The Bodycool T-Shirt is sustainably developed, meaning it lasts a long time. The shirt is designed for a maximum of 200 activations (wet/dry cycles). After approximately 10 uses, you will notice a reduction in water absorption. After this, the absorption remains relatively stable. This is a normal process. Additionally, the degree of water absorption is influenced by the quality of the water and the maintenance of the t-shirt.

What makes the Bodycool T-Shirt so good?

The t-shirt is pleasantly light and offers ample freedom of movement. Additionally, the shirt is available in various sizes and colours, so you will always find a suitable model. Unfortunately, the shirt is currently only available in a men's variant. Ladies will have to wait a little longer for a tailored version.

Studies have shown that a cooling garment is a good way to improve performance. Wearing the t-shirt extends working time by an average of 16.4%. Employees or athletes can sustain their work (or sport) for longer.

The table below shows how much performance decreases at a certain ambient temperature. For example, racing driver Max Verstappen likes to use the PCM CoolOver under his racing overall.
