FL41 filter against migraine
Glasses with an FL-41 filter are called migraine glasses because they filter out the most powerful light - certain wavelengths from blue and green light. This prevents it from reaching your eyes, allowing you to see contrasts better and even improving your visual acuity. Simply put, the filter relieves stress on your eyes and thus prevents headaches, visual stress, ocular migraine, and Blepharospasm (eyelid twitching).

Erasmus MC research into OR lighting
In 2023, research was conducted among 91 surgical assistants. The research focused on bright operating theatre lighting, with the FL-41 filter glasses investigated as a possible solution. Of the 91 respondents, 65.1% reported experiencing complaints. 23.8% had tired eyes, 17.5% headaches, and 13.5% migraines. 18.9% had taken sick leave as a result of these complaints. 26 participants used the FL-41 filter glasses for an average of 5 days. 56.5% experienced fewer complaints, and 78.2% of the testers even gave the glasses a score of 7 or higher. 30.4% definitely wanted to purchase the glasses, while 56.5% considered it.
