In 2023, research was conducted among 91 surgical assistants. The study focused on bright operating theatre lighting, with the FL-41 filter glasses investigated as a possible solution. Of the 91 respondents, 65.1% reported experiencing complaints. 23.8% had tired eyes, 17.5% headaches, and 13.5% migraines. 18.9% had reported sick at some point due to these complaints. 26 participants used the FL-41 filter glasses for an average of 5 days. 56.5% experienced fewer complaints, and 78.2% of the testers even gave the glasses a score of 7 or higher. 30.4% definitely wanted to purchase the glasses, while 56.5% considered it.
