Why the Q0 Number Pad?
Separate numpad
A compact keyboard is, of course, super handy; not too extensive, everything nice and close together, and you can keep your mouse close too. A disadvantage, however, is that the numeric section is missing. But fortunately, there's the Keychron Q0 Number Pad. With the help of this numpad (with 21 keys), you'll always have your numeric keys at hand. Handy for those who work a lot with numbers.
What makes the Q0 Number Pad so good?
No more shoulder complaints
When a keyboard has a numeric section, it is often located on the right side of the keyboard. However, a large number of Keychron's Q models come without a numeric section; this benefits, among other things, the freedom of movement in the right arm. In the place of the numeric section, you can now operate your mouse. This is advantageous because approximately 85% of Dutch people are right-handed. The Q0 numpad can be connected separately, allowing you to place it on the left side of your keyboard. This way, you can still operate the mouse with your right hand.
Hot Swappable
The Q0 is equipped with Gateron G Pro switches, giving you the choice between red and brown. These switches are pre-lubed, so you don't have to do it yourself. Additionally, the Q0 is hot-swappable, meaning you can easily replace the switches (without soldering). In principle, all mechanical 3- and 5-pin switches can be used. The switches are covered with OSA profile keycaps. These keycaps are also made of PBT, making them wear-resistant and impervious to grease stains such as fingerprints. Finally, the Q0 features RGB lighting, which is user-facing (south-facing), making them more visible than before.
A fine piece of work
The numpad is a truly premium gadget; its metal casing is made from 6063 aluminium processed by CNC machines. It is then polished, anodised, sandblasted, and undergoes 24 other production phases. As such, the Q0 can withstand a knock and will become the new showpiece on your desk.

Programming macros
The Q0 can be used not only as a numpad but also as an additional option to set up macros. A macro is a specific action (such as a certain number of mouse clicks or keyboard strokes) that can be activated with a single press of a button. This is useful when you need to perform a regularly recurring task, for example, typing a specific piece of code.
QMK/VIA software
Macros can be set up using QMK/VIA software, which is available for download for Windows, Mac, and Linux. Connect the numpad to your laptop or computer and then start programming. Colour difference
The Q0 complements the Q1 and Q2 nicely. However, there may be a minimal colour difference between the frames of the keyboards and the numpads, as they are produced separately.
