On most desks, the phone lies flat next to the keyboard. You only see a notification when you look sideways and down. During a video call, you hold it in your hand or prop it up against something at an angle. The HoldX gives your phone a fixed spot next to your laptop screen. A second screen next to your laptop

The DeltaHub HoldX is a slim, magnetic phone holder that places your phone at the side or top of your laptop screen. That keeps messages, your calendar or a video call in view, without your phone lying among the things on your desk. Because your phone is then level with your laptop screen, you look down at your desk less often.

Thin enough to leave on your phone

The HoldX is 3.2 mm thick and folds down to 76.5 x 62 mm. It adds little to your phone, so you can simply leave it on. That way you always have it with you, also when you work somewhere else.

How the HoldX works

On your laptop

The HoldX comes with a thin plate that you stick to the back of your laptop lid. One half of the holder clicks magnetically onto your phone, the other half onto that plate. Then you tilt the phone to the position you find comfortable. You place it upright next to your screen, or in landscape above your screen for a video call.

As a stand on the table

Fold out the half with the cross and the HoldX becomes a stand. Your phone then stands upright or in landscape on the table, for example to watch a video or to make a hands-free call.

As a grip and on metal

Unfolded, the HoldX gives you extra grip on the back of your phone, which is handy when filming or taking photos. The holder also sticks to flat magnetic metal surfaces, such as a steel cabinet or a fridge door.

With or without MagSafe

The HoldX fits directly on phones with MagSafe and on cases that are MagSafe compatible. If your phone does not have MagSafe, stick the included magnetic ring to the back of your phone or your case. After that, the holder works the same way.

Solidly built

The HoldX has a core of fibreglass board with built-in magnets and a metal hinge. According to DeltaHub, the hinge keeps your phone stable in every position and keeps working smoothly, even if you fold the holder open and shut often. The outside is made of faux leather (PU) with a soft finish.

Ports stay free

The holder sits on the back of your phone and leaves the ports free. So you can charge your phone with a cable while the holder is on it.

Combine with a laptop stand

The HoldX places your phone next to your laptop screen, but it does not raise the laptop screen itself. If you often work on your laptop for longer periods, a laptop stand raises the screen. Add a separate keyboard and a separate mouse and you work at a height that suits you better. The HoldX simply moves up with it.
