Comfort Ergohuman Ultra office chair with headrest grey
Product description of Comfort Ergohuman Ultra office chair with headrest grey
An ode to the Ergohuman office chairs
Belt up
Like a racing driver settling into a perfectly moulded seat in the race car, you lower yourself onto your Ergohuman. From this moment on you shift into pure relaxation in the body and razor-sharp focus in the mind. Belt up, because from here it really gets going.
Why the Ergohuman Ultra office chair?
New jacket, better parts
The new Ergohuman Ultra has been updated. Not only in looks, but also in performance. Compared with its more expensive predecessor it has become a notch better. For instance, the lumbar support now has adjustable counter-pressure that can be set up to 40% firmer.
The Ultra also comes with 4D armrests. The front part of the armrest can tilt up further, giving you extra support while, for example, reading a book or holding your phone.
Widely adjustable office chair
The Ergohuman Ultra office chair has many adjustable components. The seat, the seat depth and the recline of the back can all be adjusted with 1 modest lever. There is an extra small lever to also tilt the seat. It can be tilted 2 degrees negative (forwards). This also applies, by the way, to the back, which can take on a 6 degree negative tilt. You can adjust the backrest from a seated position. If you are a little less flexible (or a bodybuilder) it is best to stand up briefly to adjust the back. The armrest is 5D and can be adjusted in the following ways:
- Height
- Width
- Depth
- Partial tilt (front)
- Angle
Plastic parts
The five-star base of the Ultra is made of wear-resistant plastic and can therefore take a knock. The housing of the synchro mechanism is also made of this material. The use of plastic makes the colour scheme a good deal sleeker and gives it a clean look.
Mesh seat and back
The Ultra has a mesh seat and back. It gives a slightly different seating experience than a padded fabric seat, but it breathes better and is especially lovely during the warm summer months. The mesh has been designed so that the chair provides support, comfort and pressure relief in the right places. In total, the seat, lumbar support and backrest have 12 of these zones built in.
Adjustability of the Ultra
The Ergohuman Ultra is in itself a fairly large chair. Fortunately it suits many human sizes thanks to its adjustability. The seat height can be adjusted between 45 and 55 cm. The seat can slide 5 cm, the headrest is adjustable 8 cm in height and can tilt 55 degrees, the back can tilt a full 138 degrees in total and the back is adjustable 6.5 cm in height. The armrests in particular provide extra adjustability, allowing you to position them nicely under your shoulders.
Reclining backrest with counter-pressure
The backrest of the Ultra can be unlocked so that you can sit a bit more actively. Using the extra rotating lever you set the counter-pressure. Choose a counter-pressure with which you do not simply fall backwards, but which also does not torpedo you out of your chair.
What makes an office chair so good?
Because you sit at your desk for long stretches, you need a chair that provides you with every convenience, so that you get through your days relaxed and free of complaints. Office chairs often not only have these features, but also make them adjustable. This way you can always find the right posture that you and your body need at that moment. This keeps you energetic, healthy and productive.
Get the most out of this product
The Ultra has many components that are adjustable. Take your time during the first few days to find the best settings for you in order to optimise your relaxation. This chair comes as standard with a headrest, which makes it the ultimate work/relax chair.
Don't miss this either
The Ergohuman is Greenguard certified with the GOLD certificate. This guarantees that there are no negative effects on indoor air quality when using the Ergohuman. Furthermore, the chair is 98% recyclable. The Ergohuman Ultra also complies with the (N)EN 1335 standard.
