Upon hearing the name Bodycool Towel+, you naturally immediately think of a cooling towel. We ourselves would give this product a different name; namely the cooling scarf from the brand Inuteq. This cloth cools better than it dries anything/anyone!
The Bodycool Towel+ provides cooling by submerging it in tap water (for a maximum of 2 minutes). Squeeze out the excess water and then swing it around a few times. After this, it is immediately ready for use. For example, tie it around your neck for some refreshment while you are working in the garden or a warehouse.
Once activated, the towel offers up to approximately 15ºC cooling compared to the ambient temperature. This makes the towel ideal for use during sports or camping. The towel stays cool for about 3 hours.
INUTEQ-QCK® fabric is extremely soft, strong, flexible, and lightweight. This makes the scarf/towel comfortable to wear as it will not irritate the skin. The towel is antibacterial and also durable.
The cooling scarf feels velvety soft. To keep it that way, you need to take good care of it. You do this, among other things, by storing it in the included case. Do you want to store it for a longer period? Then make sure the towel is completely dry first.
Sweated a bit too enthusiastically? No problem. The scarf can be washed in the washing machine at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. Use a mild detergent and let it air dry (hanging). This way, the Bodycool Towel+ will last the longest.
The Bodycool Towel+ has dimensions of 85 x 30cm, thus providing sufficient cooling for, for example, the neck or arms. Unfortunately, it is not large enough to flop down on at the beach. The towel is available in the colours Ice Blue and Midnight Black.
Planning to wear this over light-coloured clothing? Give it a single wash before you use it for the first time. New textiles can release a little excess dye the first time they get wet. That is normal for coloured fabrics. An initial wash rinses out the loose dye, so your clothing stays clean.
Evaporative cooling needs wind or movement. Sitting still indoors, you will hardly notice it.
