There is apple in this armrest. No core or peel, but apple waste turned into a soft cover. Your forearms rest on it, your shoulders can drop for a moment and you just keep typing. Clamping it to your desk takes a few minutes. Easy as apple pie. (We don't recommend eating it.)

During screen work, your forearms often hover above the desk. Your shoulders hold that weight a little bit all day long. The R-Go Ergonomic Armrest gives your forearms a fixed place at the height of your desktop. That can help reduce the tension in your shoulders and neck.

The R-Go armrest has a rounded cut-out in the middle. This lets you sit close to the desk and keeps your arms close to your body. The shape is symmetrical, so the armrest works just as well whether you use the mouse with your left or right hand.

What makes the R-Go armrest so good?

The top of the R-Go Ergonomic Armrest is covered with Premium UPPEAL: a bio-based material made from apple waste. It feels soft and supple, a bit like leather, but it contains nothing of animal origin. According to R-Go, the material has a lower environmental impact than traditional leather.

Made in Romania, with a social purpose

R-Go has the armrest made in cooperation with Networks Romania. This organisation works to improve lives in vulnerable communities in Romania. Through the sheltered workshop DECE Clothing, people with few chances on the job market get work and more independence.

Clamps you can slide

The clamps of the R-Go armrest sit in a slot on the underside. You fix them with a thumb screw, no tools needed. Want the armrest a little closer to you? Loosen the knob, slide it along and tighten it again.

Check your desk first

The R-Go Ergonomic Armrest fits desktops from 10 to 40 mm thick. The desktop must stick out at least 50 mm at the front, so the clamp can grip underneath. If your desk has drawers at the front, a sloping edge or a raised edge, the armrest will not fit.

On a sit-stand desk

The R-Go armrest is fixed to the desktop, so it simply moves along when you adjust the desk. Do check the frame: on a sit-stand desk too, the desktop must stick out at least 50 mm beyond the frame.

Getting used to it

If you have never worked with an armrest, letting your arms rest will feel a bit strange for the first few days. Place your forearms on the R-Go armrest without leaning or hanging on it. After a few days you will notice whether your shoulders tense up less.
