Why the Bachmann STEP BASE pluggable power strip?
With the Bachmann STEP BASE pluggable power strips, you can effortlessly create a complete network of power connections. Thanks to the GST18® input and output, you can easily connect it with so-called pluggable cables. The input and output are designed in such a way that the power strips can be 'clicked' together to form a power strip with more than 5 connections.
The power strip meets the strictest requirements and can effortlessly handle a current of 16A. If you are going to connect multiple power strips, always check what the total load will be.
What makes a pluggable power strip so good?
Easy to install
In addition to the pluggable GST18® connections, the Bachmann is equipped with mounting eyes. This allows you to mount the power strip, for example, under a desk or in a cabinet. Because the mounting holes are somewhat deeper in the housing, it is useful to order a mounting kit.
Connecting
The power strip is supplied as standard with 3, 4 or 5 230V connections. Optionally, you can choose a connection cable with lengths of 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 metres. You can connect the power strips with so-called pluggable cables. Both connection and coupling cables are available.

The 230V Schuko (Type F) connections are placed at an angle of 35 degrees. This ensures that plugs and adapters can be easily placed next to each other. The connections are also equipped with child-friendly closures, so you cannot directly insert a pointed object into them.
