The Varier Wing sits a bit between worlds. It's not a classic office chair you sink into, but also not a fixed kneeling chair that keeps you in one spot. You sit actively, but can still move. A quick swivel, a short roll, then back again. It all feels quite logical. As if the chair simply works with you.

Kneeling chair with freedom of movement

The Varier Wing was designed by Peter Opsvik and is a special version within the Varier range. You get the active sitting posture of a kneeling chair, but with a wheeled base. This means you don't get stuck in one place, but can move more easily with what you're doing.

The seat tilts forward, causing you to automatically sit a bit more upright. Your pelvis tilts slightly forward, which helps to keep your back more natural. It doesn't feel forced. More like your body naturally adopts the correct posture.

Also suitable for a slightly higher workstation

The Wing is height-adjustable and works well with desk surfaces of approximately 74 to 90 cm. This makes it a bit more flexible than many other kneeling chairs. Especially if your workstation is a bit higher, or if you are taller yourself, this is pleasant.

You sit on the Wing with your knees on the cushions and your weight distributed over the seat and lower legs. Initially, it feels a bit different. Often, after a few days, you'll notice that you automatically sit more upright and slouch less. Nice and simple.
