Why the Powerdot Midi earthed with cable grommet?

This Powerdot provides space for one earthed plug. In addition, this Powerdot features a spacious cable grommet of 10 x 20 mm. For installation, drilling a hole in the desktop is necessary. You then only need to lower the Powerdot into the hole and tighten the retaining ring on the underside of the desktop. With the included clips, you also have the option to make the Powerdot attachment permanent.
