Why the Keychron K5 keyboard?
Very comprehensive
The Keychron K5 gives you all the keys and functions a keyboard can possibly have. This means the keyboard has a numeric keypad and includes hotkeys that can be used by pressing combination keys. The K5 is unique because it has mechanical keys AND is flat!
The connectivity of the K5 is fantastic. Via Bluetooth, you can connect up to three devices to the keyboard simultaneously. With the toggle button, you can switch between your connected devices in a flash. For example, one moment you might be working on your laptop, and the next you're quickly typing a WhatsApp message about dinner. A fourth device can be connected with a cable (USB). Of course, you can also connect a single device and use the USB cable for that.
What makes an ergonomic keyboard so good?
Anyone who performs a lot of computer work knows that this can be strenuous for your wrists, shoulders, back, and neck. A good keyboard can help you with this. The Keychron K5, for example, has a flat design. The keys are also extra easy to press. Furthermore, the numeric keypad makes entering numbers easier. All of this is to minimise muscle tension, thereby preventing or reducing injuries.
Please note that this is a wide keyboard, and a regular mouse is not recommended for ergonomic reasons. Trackpads are ideal in this case, as they are a mouse that sits directly in front of you. This allows you to work within shoulder width and minimise tension on your muscles.
