Why the Keychron K5 keyboard?

Very complete

The Keychron K5 gives you every key and function a keyboard can possibly have. This means the keyboard has a numeric keypad and hotkeys that you can use by pressing key combinations. The K5 is unique because it has both mechanical keys and a flat design!

The K5's connectivity is fantastic. Via Bluetooth you can connect up to three devices to the keyboard at the same time. With the toggle button you switch between your connected devices in a flash. One moment you're working on your laptop, the next you're quickly typing a WhatsApp message about dinner, for example. A fourth device can be connected with a cable (USB). Connecting a single device and using the USB cable for that is of course also an option.

What makes an ergonomic keyboard so good?

Anyone who spends a lot of time working on a computer knows this can put strain on your wrists, shoulders, back and neck. A good keyboard can help you with this. The Keychron K5, for example, has a flat design. The keys are also extra easy to press. And the numeric keypad makes entering numbers easier. All of this helps minimise muscle tension, which helps prevent or reduce injuries.

Do note that this is a wide keyboard, and a regular mouse is not recommended for ergonomic reasons. Trackpads are ideal in this case, because this is a mouse that sits directly in front of you. This way you keep working within shoulder width and minimise the tension on your muscles.

Get the most out of this product

The K5 has a strong aluminium casing. The Low Profile keys from Gateron also make typing very easy. Thanks to the low profile the keys respond very quickly, which makes them well suited to gaming. In this overview you can find the characteristics of the Switch.

The Keychron K5 has a 2000mAh battery that lasts up to 38 hours with normal use. The keyboard also has backlighting, so the keys are easy to see in poorly lit rooms.

Here you can choose between standard white and RGB. The latter gives you 18 different colour effects with four brightness levels. The Keychron K5 is suitable for both Windows & Mac. With a small slider at the top you can easily switch between operating systems. System-related keycaps are included and you can easily swap them yourself.
