Why the Headcool Helmet?
DRY, so fill instead of immerse
This is the big difference from the Basic. The Headcool Helmet is an INUTEQ-DRY product: you activate it by filling it with water (max. 50 ml). It then cools by evaporation, without you walking around with a wet helmet lining. Ideal if you want cooling, but no clammy fuss.
For those who need to perform under a helmet
Construction, industry, motorcycling, security – as long as air can flow past your helmet, this system works best. It can cool up to 15°C below ambient temperature and remains active for 8 to 72 hours, depending on airflow, humidity, and temperature.
What makes this product so good?
Evaporative cooling is simple and smart: water evaporates, and that “costs” heat. It extracts that heat from your helmet area. The Headcool Helmet keeps it dry on the inside and outside, but it must be able to “sweat out”. So no airtight situations, ventilation is preferred.
