Why the H2O 2BSafe?
Resistant to the heat
This fluorescent cooling vest is made for the real tough cookies who don't shy away from the heat. The H2O 2BSafe cooling vest is designed to cool the body by 15ºC compared to the ambient temperature. This is pleasant when you are working in a very warm environment, for example, as a traffic controller or ground staff for an airline during the summer months. Especially for these activities, the bright colour of the vest is not an unnecessary luxury.
Evaporation
The vest can be (re)activated by submerging it in water for a maximum of 2 minutes. Gently squeeze out the excess water from the vest (do not wring!). Then put on the vest and carry out your activities as you always do. The vest provides cooling through evaporation. Thanks to this technology, you will stay comfortably cool for 2 to 8 hours, depending on the conditions. Has the vest stopped working? Simply submerge it again and you're ready for another round.
The H2O 2BSafe is sustainably developed, which means the vest lasts a long time. The vest is designed for a maximum of 200 activations (wet/dry cycles). After approximately 10 uses, you will notice a reduction in water absorption. After this, the absorption remains relatively stable. This is a normal process. Additionally, the degree of water absorption is influenced by the quality of the water and the maintenance of the cooling vest.
What makes the H2O 2BSafe cooling vest so good?
As previously mentioned, the H2O 2BSafe features a fluorescent colour. Additionally, there are reflective strips on the vest that light up when illuminated. The vest is made of 100% polyester and fastens with a hook-and-loop strip. Finally, the vest is available in sizes S to 3XL, so you can always find a suitable model.
ISO20471 / ANSI Class certification
The cooling vest has an ISO 20471 or ANSI/ISEA classification certification. This means it is designed to make workers visible in low-light conditions or poor visibility, such as during roadside work or in industrial environments. These standards are intended to ensure the safety of workers by making them more visible to others, such as motorists, colleagues, and other labourers.
