The S-Board 840 is a light, slim, and compact keyboard. Its compact size allows you to keep your arms closer to your body, which is good for shoulder relaxation. You will be able to work comfortably for longer. The board is very complete with 12 function keys and offers a pleasant key stroke.
The 840 stands out with its slim and modern design. The scissor mechanism in the board ensures flat keys. The keystroke is light, and the keys provide good feedback. Its flat design allows the wrists to maintain their natural posture, and you work with more relaxation than with a high keyboard.
The 12 multimedia keys on the S-Board make it possible to complete your tasks at lightning speed. Cut, paste, save, adjust your volume – it's all possible. The Azerty board is also equipped with a USB hub. The 2 USB ports are located on either side of the board. Although the board also has foldable feet, we advise against using them. Tilting the board only puts unnecessary strain on your hands.
The 840 S-Board is 30.5 cm wide, 16.5 cm deep, and 2 cm high. It weighs 480 grams. The board's casing is silver, and the keys are light with black letters. The ergonomic idea behind this is that black on white is most readable. The board's layout is Belgian AZERTY. You connect the board to your computer with the 150 cm long USB cable.
You can use the USB hub to reduce the number of devices connected to your computer. Handy, especially when you have few ports available. You can even charge your phone with it.
In the 840's packaging, you will also find a cover that you can use to transport the keyboard. It's not very thick, but it offers excellent protection against scratches.
The advantage of a compact keyboard is that your arm doesn't have to reach as far for the mouse as with a wide keyboard with a numeric section. This way, you work comfortably and prevent overuse injuries.
Despite its compact size, you immediately see that everything has been done in its design to make it complete. Function keys, a large spacebar, integrated numeric pad. The scissor keys have a fast response and type smoothly. Because the S 840 is so compact, it fits perfectly in most bags. Use the included cover to keep it tidy and prevent damage.
