A refreshing chill

The Bodycool Smart-X cooling vest provides extra cooling during hotter days. The vest is lightweight and works based on the advanced INUTEQ-DRY technology (more on that later). By staying well-cooled, performance levels improve, allowing you to work comfortably for longer.

Various purposes

The cooling vest uses INUTEQ-DRY technology, which means it doesn't get wet and can be easily worn under regular clothing. This makes it perfect for wearing under a uniform, for example. The vest works optimally in low to medium humidity, and the amount of airflow determines the ultimate cooling effect and the duration of the cooling.

Please note; wearing a garment over the cooling vest can therefore affect the cooling. Are you wearing a completely airtight suit? Then opt for a PAC cooling vest.

What makes the Bodycool Smart-X cooling vest so good?

Comfortable

The Bodycool Smart-X is a comfortable and lightweight vest to wear. The vest features a sturdy YKK zip closure, ensuring a snug fit to the body. This makes the vest suitable for various activities. The cooling vest is designed to be worn in warm conditions up to 40ºC. A (light) form of airflow is necessary for cooling.

Different layers

The cooling vest consists of 3 different layers. This way, the water can be properly distributed throughout the cooling vest. The outer layer is made of 50% Nylon Jersey/50% PU Microban with antibacterial properties. The core is made of cooling fabric, and the inner material is also made of nylon.

Get the most out of your Bodycool Smart-X cooling vest

Easy to use

The vest is easy to (re)activate by filling it with tap water through the designated opening at the back. Then distribute the water over the vest with your hands and enjoy immediate cooling. The vest remains dry on both the inside and outside thanks to its unique design. After filling, the vest cools to about 15ºC below ambient temperature. The vest remains active for 8 to 72 hours, depending on conditions such as ambient temperature and humidity.

In the washing machine

The Bodycool Smart-X cooling vest can be machine washed at a maximum of 40ºC. Please ensure that you close the filling cap at the back properly. When machine washing, use a mild detergent to prevent damage to the cooling technology. Is the wash finished? Then hang the vest to dry, and definitely leave your iron or steamer alone.

Health and safety

The Bodycool Smart-X DRY koelvest cools through evaporation and feels dry on the skin. The cooling fibre consists almost entirely of cellulose, a plant-based and biodegradable fibre. The outer fabric and lining are laminated with TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane).

According to the Inuteq safety data sheet, all materials in the Bodycool Smart-X DRY koelvest are non-toxic and contain no hazardous components. Under normal use and direct skin contact, no risks are known. All Inuteq products comply with the European REACH regulation (1907/2006/EC).

Wash before first use

Planning to wear this over light-coloured clothing? Give it a single wash before you use it for the first time. New textiles can release a little excess dye the first time they get wet. That is normal for coloured fabrics. An initial wash rinses out the loose dye, so your clothing stays clean.
