Sitting comfortably

To work as comfortably as possible, you need to set up your office chair properly. By following the steps below you will always set your chair up correctly.

1. Make sure your feet are flat on the floor.
2. Set the height of the chair. It is correct when the angle between your upper and lower leg is 90˚ or just slightly more. When your hips are just a little higher than your knees, your legs are well supported.
3. Sit right at the back of the chair.
4. Set the seat depth so that your fist fits between the edge of the seat and the back of your knee.
5. Then sit back against the backrest and make sure the lumbar support is at the right height. This is often just above your belt.
6. Set the lumbar support so that it sits comfortably and does not push you off your chair.
7. Sit with relaxed shoulders and set the armrests so that they just support your forearm at an angle of 90 degrees.
8. Set the height of your desk so that the armrests are level with the height of the desktop.

Folding armrests

These height-adjustable armrests replace the standard armrests and fold easily out of the way when you do not want to use them for a moment or when they are in the way.

On the underside of the folding armrests there is a small wheel with which you can lock the armrest at a desired angle. A little higher, a little lower, and you have it set in no time.

Lockable 4D arm pads

These arm pads replace the standard pads and are a little thicker and more comfortable thanks to the use of softer material. That said, they are not silky-soft little cushions. They still offer plenty of support.

Epron RV Quick Adjust mechanism

Quite a mouthful, but this mechanism can do just a little more than the standard, already fairly complete mechanism. The Epron RV features the following extras:

• Heavy duty backrest that can take up to 160 kilograms
• Quick adjust weight setting - back counter-pressure adjustable from 60 - 160 kg in 6 steps
• Backrest can tilt up to 8 degrees independently of the seat using a rotary knob

Low and high gas spring

This option does not need much explanation; with it you change the maximum and minimum seat height of the chair. Ideal for when the users are a little shorter or taller. Or when the workplace is higher than usual. In the latter case, do make sure the user still gets sufficient support, for example with a footrest.

Coat hanger

This option means you do not have to do your rounds with a creased jacket. It is mounted on the back, is chrome-plated and carries your jacket carefully and proudly.

Upholstery

The ErgoPro Control 24-hour chair comes as standard upholstered in black Mirage fabric. This durable fabric is made 100% from polyester and its colourfastness is 100,000 Martindale. Besides the standard black, you can choose all kinds of colours. Do bear in mind a longer delivery time in that case (approximately 8 weeks). Alongside the Mirage fabric, you can also have it upholstered with recycled plastic bottles! Not literally, of course, but the fabric is made 100% from recycled plastic bottles. Nicely green of you!
