Why the flat Kensington Ergosoft™ mouse wrist rest?

Not quite as Kensington intended

Kensington actually developed this flat and relatively long wrist rest for flat mice. However, we're not really fans of this type of mouse. It forces you to grip and puts unnecessary strain on the arm.

Fortunately, there are other uses for this wrist rest model. For example, it's ideal for providing that little bit of extra support between mouse usage. Because the wrist rest is relatively long, the support on your wrist is well distributed. Additionally, it offers more comfort than when your wrist rests directly on the desk.

Trackball

You can, of course, ideally combine this wrist rest with a trackball. These often already have a lower design, which means the arm is even better aligned with the hand.

Plastic

The exterior of the wrist rest is made of strong and multifunctional TPU plastic, which is considered a combination of rubber and plastic. TPU is flexible, durable, smooth, and resistant to oil, grease, and wear.

Applicable to a split keyboard

You can even choose to combine 2 flat Kensington Ergosofts with your split keyboard. This gives you a little extra support while typing.
