Why the Glovii electric vest?

Wonderful for warming up or staying warm

This heated vest from Glovii is perfect for almost any activity. It's compact and light, so you'll barely feel it. Whether you're walking, cycling, working or exercising, you'll be wonderfully warm with this universal vest. We even tested it ice skating!

The vest features two 9W heating elements: one on the back and one on the chest. This keeps your upper body wonderfully warm, meaning other parts of your body will feel less cold. The body needs to regulate less to stay warm in vital areas.

Great to wear with your own clothes

This sounds very normal, but it's not! While with many heated garments you are tied to a specific item of clothing, this is not the case with this vest. You don't have to wear a universally boring bodywarmer, jacket, jumper or other garment just because it's heated. This universal heated vest is an addition to your outfit, not a replacement.

The modest weight of only 290 grams absolutely contributes to wearing comfort. Furthermore, the back surface measures only 30.5 cm wide and 25.5 cm high. The front, at 29 cm wide and 23.5 cm high, is even smaller.

Widely adjustable for ultimate wearing comfort

A heated vest works particularly well if it fits snugly against your body. This is easily achieved thanks to 4 adjustable straps. It also makes it suitable for every body type. Both shoulder straps are adjustable, as are the straps that close around the body on the left and right. The padded shoulder straps feel comfortable and almost make you forget you're wearing the vest.

The outside of the vest is made of very sturdy 100% nylon, the inside is made of 100% mesh woven polyester.

3 heat settings

With this vest, you have a choice of 3 different settings. On the lowest heat setting, the heating elements reach 34°C, on the medium setting 39°C, and on the warmest setting 44°C. You can quickly see the settings by the colour of the Glovii logo on the front of the vest. It turns green on the lowest heat setting, blue on the medium, and red on the warmest.

The logo on the vest also doubles as the on/off button and allows you to quickly switch between the 3 heat settings. Holding the button for 2 seconds switches the vest on or off. A short press (0.5 sec.) switches between the different settings.

What makes a heated vest so good?

With a heated vest, you'll easily stay nice and warm. You can wear it over and under your clothes, and it won't get in the way. You can wear it under or over a jumper or t-shirt and under your own winter coat.

Get the most out of your electrically heated vest

Choose the right power bank

This heated vest does not come with a power bank as standard. Any power bank with a 2A output is suitable. Our tip: choose a power bank that preferably has a flat design. It will ‘thicken’ the vest less and be easier to wear under other clothing. The spacious 16 x 12 cm battery compartment in the front of the vest is also well suited for this.

How ‘seamlessly’ does that vest really fit your body? We really wanted to know. So we subjected it to a serious test at the ice rink. A tough training session was successfully completed with it. Sitting deep and performing high (explosive) exertion was no problem at all.
