Why the Freestyle Edge Lift-kit?
Need a lift?
We are very happy with it, the Lift Kit for the Edge. Especially if you've developed some discomfort in your forearms and wrists from many hours behind the computer, you should definitely start using it. The Lift Kit can position the 2 split parts at an angle of 5°, 10° or 15°. Your arms will therefore be at a more comfortable angle, allowing them to find more relaxation during gaming. It will initially mean a trade-off in the speed of your actions, but that's a matter of getting used to it.
What makes the Freestyle Edge Lift-kit so good?
Keyboard risers further optimise your working posture where the keyboard itself can no longer help you. As a test, place your hands completely relaxed on the desk in front of you. Due to gravity, your hands will lie flat, but you will notice that their natural posture causes them to point slightly upwards at an angle. Thanks to the lift kit, you can type from this posture.
Get the most out of your Freestyle Edge Lift-kit
Assembly
Assembly is actually very quick, especially with the help of the user manual combined with this video. Place your keyboard, including wrist rests, upside down, preferably with a cloth or similar underneath to prevent damage.
Match the left lifter with the left side of the keyboard and vice versa. Insert the two end pieces of the lifter perpendicularly into the square holes on the keyboard. Once both end pieces are in place, lower the other end of the V-lifter until the two pinch fasteners securely click into the wrist rest.
Removal
Gently press the pinch fastener. Then lift it straight up from the lifter until the two pinch fasteners can be detached from the keyboard.
