What makes the Comfort Plus ergonomic office chair so good?
The Comfort Plus is fully adjustable. You can adjust the seat height between 490-630 mm and the seat depth between 450-510 mm. In addition, the armrests are also adjustable in height and width. A mechanism with weight adjustment is incorporated between the seat and the gas lift. With the help of this mechanism, you can, for example, set how far the backrest can move backwards and with what resistance. Adjusting correctly
When you purchase a new office chair, it is, of course, important to adjust it correctly. Only in this way can you make optimal use of your office chair and prevent complaints. You adjust your office chair as follows:
- • Place your feet flat on the floor.
- • Sit well back in the chair.
- • Adjust the height of your office chair so that your knee angle is approximately 90º, or slightly larger. If your hips are slightly higher than your knees, your legs will be well supported. Do not set the chair too high, as this can pinch the edge of your legs, which can lead to tingling.
- • Approximately a fist's width should fit between the back of your knee and the edge of your office chair's seat.
- • Adjust the backrest so that the angle between your upper and lower body is slightly more than 90º.
- • Ensure that the natural curve of your lower back receives sufficient support. If you do not have enough support from the Comfort Plus itself, a separate back support may offer a solution.
- • To adjust the armrest, let your arms hang relaxed by your sides. Then bend your arms so they form an angle of approximately 90º. Position the armrests so that they just slightly support your arms.
- • Then adjust the height of your desk so that your desktop is just below the armrests, which prevents your arms from being pinched.
