Get the most out of your Ergopro Control
Comfortable sitting
To work as comfortably as possible, you need to adjust your office chair correctly. By following the steps below, you will always set up your chair properly.
- Ensure your feet are flat on the floor.
- Adjust the height of the chair. This is correct when the angle between your upper and lower leg is 90˚ or slightly higher. When your hips are slightly higher than your knees, your legs are well supported.
- Sit well back in the chair.
- Adjust the seat depth so that your fist fits between the edge of the seat and the back of your knee.
- Then sit against the backrest and ensure the lumbar support is at the correct height. This is often just above your belt.
- Adjust the lumbar support so that it is comfortable and doesn't push you off your chair.
- Sit with relaxed shoulders and adjust the armrests so they just support your forearm at a 90-degree angle.
- Adjust the height of your desk so that the armrests are level with the desk surface.
