Improve the acoustics of a space and combine this with great modern looks. The acoustic planters have a sound-dampening effect, reduce noise in a room, and also look good.
Why choose the acoustic planter
More and more people work in large open-plan offices with many colleagues talking, calling, or consulting. Pleasant, but not always quiet. The acoustic planters help to dampen that buzz. They act as natural dividers between workstations, improve acoustics, and simultaneously bring some fresh air and greenery into the space – provided you put real plants in them, of course.
The green revolution in the office!
Green plants, green production
Not only are the plants green in this planter. The acoustic planter itself is too. The sound-dampening material is made from recycled textile fibres, and is also recyclable. The sorting of these fibres takes place in social workshops – good for both people and the environment.
The frame is made of X-ECO circular aluminium: at least 80% recycled and with approximately 90% less emissions during production. The open-weave upholstery allows sound to pass optimally to the sound-dampening material. Result: an acoustic class A with an impressive absorption value of αw = 0.95 (ISO 354).
Fabrics & colours
The manufacturer uses: Fabric Group 1 – Camira Carlow + Lucia (100% recycled) and Fabric Group 2 – Wool. We offer these three upholsteries:
- Camira Lucia (CLW codes, 100% recycled polyester) – modern, felt-like structure. Examples: Avoca (CLW22), Quin (CLW04), Glenamoy (CLW24), Emly (CLW21).
- Camira Carlow (YB codes, 100% polypropylene) – smoother, fresh look. Examples: Havana (YB009), Aruba (YB093), Slip (YB094), Paseo (YB019).
- Facet Wool (FR codes, 75% wool/25% PA) – warm, natural appearance. Examples: Light grey (FR1000), Mint (FR50), Olive (FR53), Terra (FR31).
The aluminium has also been carefully considered: as soon as it reaches the end of its lifespan, most of it is recycled again.
Off to the garden centre!
You will receive everything you need – except the plants. Depending on the size, one to six insert trays are supplied. These waterproof insert trays are 32 cm deep and equipped with hydroponics (separator base and water level indicator). The colour of the insert trays is matched to the chosen aluminium: white with white, black with black.
