Why the wide brushed cable gland?
If you have a fair number of cables at your work – or hobby space, they can sometimes cause irritation. With this cable gland, you guide all your cables together downwards. The brush seal ensures your cords remain dust-free and in place. So, cables won't just disappear under the table.
Do you want to feed through even more cables? You can optionally remove the brush insert to create extra space.
This cable gland is available in a diameter of 60 mm and a diameter of 80 mm. The diameters indicate the size of the opening through which your cables pass. The cable gland is available in the colours black, white, silver grey (RAL 9006), gloss chrome, matt chrome and stainless steel look. The material used for this cable gland is zamak, an alloy of magnesium, zinc, copper and aluminium.

"How many cables can I feed through the gland?"
That depends on the diameter of the gland and the type of cables you want to feed through it. On average, with the gland with a diameter of Ø 60/67 mm, you can feed through up to 6 cables, and with a diameter of Ø 79/88 mm, up to 8 cables.
"Is this cable gland also available in a different colour?"
Yes, there are six different finishes available. Namely: Black, White, Silver Grey (RAL9006), Gloss Chrome, Matt Chrome and Stainless Steel look.
"What is the brush in the gland for?"
The brush has two functions. It ensures that no dust gets between the cables and also holds the cables in place. For example, your phone charger cannot fall back through the hole if it is not connected.
"What kind of material is Zamak?"
