Why the Ergo Professional duo sit/stand desk?

The Ergo Professional duo is the ideal desk for alternating between standing and sitting work, creating a workspace for two people. Thanks to the electric motors in the ROL ERGO frame, the desk tops can be adjusted super quickly and steplessly from the lowest position (65cm) to its highest position (130cm). A simple press of a button raises or lowers the top by 4 cm/s. Thanks to its wide range, the desk complies with the Dutch NPR 1813 standard. The desk tops can be adjusted independently of each other.

Despite its adjustable tops, the desk is incredibly strong. The aluminium frame can support more than 100 kilograms, so you never have to worry about overloaded desks. The Bosch motors in the legs produce about 55dB of sound when the desk is adjusted.

You can choose between 120x80, 140x80, 160x80, 180x80 or 200x100 centimetre tops. There is a wide choice of colours: Beech, Dark Oak, Lindberg Oak, Havana, Grey, White, Robust Oak and Natural Oak. The dimensions apply to both tops, but you can choose two different colours. The frame is available in silver, black and white.

What makes a sit/stand desk so good?

On average, we all sit for about 13 hours a day. Various studies are increasingly highlighting the extensive sedentary work that many people do daily. These studies all convey the same message: prolonged sitting is a real killer. It's not an exaggeration; just look at the following facts:

 Sitting 3 hours less per day means you live approximately 2 years longer

 Sitting for more than 2 hours consecutively increases blood sugar, reduces blood flow, and decreases good cholesterol by 20%
