Power where your desk needs it

The Fellowes Power Block 2.0 is a power strip with 6 230V sockets for your workstation. You lay it in a cable tray or screw it onto or under the desktop. That keeps power close to your devices and gets the loose extension lead off the floor.

Earthed or pin earthing

The Fellowes Power Block 2.0 comes with type F sockets (earthed), as used in the Netherlands and Germany, and type E sockets (pin earthing), as used in Belgium and France. You choose the type at the top of this page. Pick the type that suits your country and your plugs.

How to use it

Choosing the power cable

The Fellowes Power Block 2.0 has no fixed cable. You click in a power cable with a 3-pole connector, in the length you choose: 1, 2, 3 or 5 metres. Measure the distance from your desk to the wall socket, with some slack if your desk moves up and down. If you already have a suitable 3-pole power cable, choose "None".

Input and output

The Fellowes Power Block 2.0 has a 3-pole input for the power cable and a 3-pole output. Through that output you pass power on with a 3-pole extension cable, for example to a second Power Block on the other side of the desk. Keep in mind that everything you connect this way runs through one wall socket.

Mounting

In a cable tray you simply lay the Fellowes Power Block 2.0 down. To fix it onto or under the desktop, use the screw holes in the housing. Screws are not included, so take a few that suit the thickness of your desktop.

Ergonomic benefits

A power strip does not change your posture, but the Fellowes Power Block 2.0 does save you bending down and crawling under your desk to plug something in. With the block fixed to a sit-stand desk or in the cable tray underneath, the plugs move up with the desk and no cable pulls tight. Only the power cable to the wall needs some slack.
