Fellowes Desk In – 3x power & 2x keystone, black

An ode to the Fellowes Desk In

Three's a party

Two's company, three's a party. The Fellowes Desk In takes that literally: three sockets that only show up when you open the lid. When the party's over, the lid closes and your desk looks as if nobody was ever there. Two keystone guests are welcome too, and you pick them yourself at the door.

Why the Fellowes Desk In?

Power and data in one spot in your desktop

The Fellowes Desk In is a built-in power socket unit with three earthed type F sockets and a keystone window for two connections. You fit it into a cut-out in your desk or table top. That puts power and, for example, a network or HDMI connection right where you work.

Tidy when you're not using it

A lid covers the sockets of the Fellowes Desk In when you don't need them. Your desktop stays clean and calm. Handy on a meeting table or hot desk where something isn't plugged in every day.

How to use it

Build your own

For the Fellowes Desk In, you choose the length of the connection cable and a connection per keystone slot at the top of this page. Each slot can take USB-C, HDMI or CAT6 for a network cable. You can also leave a slot empty.

The keystones

The keystones of the Fellowes Desk In are couplers. Under the desktop you connect the cable to your computer, screen or network, and at the top you plug in your device. You click the keystones you choose into the keystone window yourself.

The connection cable

The Fellowes Desk In has a 1 metre linking cable with a 3-pin connector. You plug a connection cable with a mains plug into it, which you can order in 1, 3 or 5 metres. Already have a suitable connection cable with a 3-pin connector? Then choose "None".

Ergonomic benefits

A built-in power socket unit won't change your posture, but the Fellowes Desk In does save you bending down and searching under your desk for a free socket. You plug in your laptop charger, monitor or network cable from your chair. That makes a workspace you share with others a lot more pleasant to use.

Also worth knowing

Measure before you cut

For the Fellowes Desk In, you cut a 273.6 x 162.5 mm opening in the desktop. The unit is 89 mm high. So check that there's no frame, drawer or cable tray in the way under the desktop at that spot. Clamps on the unit then hold the Fellowes Desk In in place.

Pros and cons
