Why a saddle cover for the Deskbike?

The Deskbike saddle is quite firm. That works fine for half an hour of pedalling, but those who continue longer will eventually notice it in their seat. The saddle cover adds a soft, plush layer over the existing saddle and just takes away those sharp edges.

You slide the cover over your Deskbike saddle and tighten the drawstring at the bottom. This keeps it in place while cycling, even if you get on and off frequently.

For those who cycle for longer periods

If you usually cycle in short bursts of ten or fifteen minutes, you probably don't need the saddle cover. If you're heading towards the 30 minutes we recommend for the Deskbike, or if you change your posture less often than you'd like, then this is a small purchase that makes sitting noticeably more comfortable.

Does this saddle cover fit my Deskbike?

The saddle cover is designed for the standard Deskbike saddle and therefore fits both the Deskbike Original and the Deskbike Large. If you have replaced your Deskbike saddle with a different model, please check if the cover will fit over it.

Maintenance

The cover is made of polyester with a soft, plush top layer. Wipe it clean with a damp cloth if it gets dirty and allow it to air dry before replacing it.
