Product description of Forming Function Powerdot Nano Ø24 USB-C
An ode to the Powerdot Nano Ø24 USB-C
Small but mighty
Not everything that impresses has to be big. The Powerdot Nano Ø24 USB-C practically disappears into your desktop, yet that one small port delivers both power and data. You hardly notice it, until the moment you need it. Then you are very glad it is there.
Why the Powerdot Nano Ø24 USB-C?
Power and data from a single USB-C port
The Powerdot Nano Ø24 USB-C combines charging and data transfer in one compact flush-mount port. You build it neatly into your desktop, putting charging power and data right at your fingertips. No more loose adapter or cable across your desk. Nice and simple.
Plenty of power in a small package
With USB 3.2 Gen 2, the Powerdot Nano Ø24 USB-C delivers up to 240W of charging power and data speeds up to 20 Gbps. That means you can charge not just phones and tablets, but most laptops through the same port.
Only a 19 mm drill hole, your desktop stays sleek
The drill hole for the Powerdot Nano Ø24 USB-C is only 19 mm. The mounting point barely stands out, keeping your desktop looking clean. A hole this small is drilled with an ordinary spade bit, so installation is a small, manageable job rather than a scary operation on your desktop.
How to use it
Once installed, the Powerdot Nano Ø24 USB-C serves as a fixed charging and data point at your workstation. Connect your device with a USB-C cable and you can charge up to 240W, or transfer data at up to 20 Gbps. The amount of power your device receives adjusts to what it needs.
Which USB-C adapter should you choose?
The Powerdot Nano Ø24 USB-C has one USB-C port on top and is powered from below by a USB-C adapter. That adapter determines how much power comes out of the port. That is why you can choose from three Axessline USB chargers to go with it.
20W, for phone and tablet
The 20W Axessline USB charger with a single USB-C port powers the Powerdot Nano Ø24 USB-C for lighter use. It charges phones and tablets quickly and supports PD 3.0. A fine choice if you do not need laptop-level power.
65W, for one laptop
If you want to charge a laptop through the Powerdot Nano Ø24 USB-C, the 65W Axessline USB charger with a single USB-C port is the logical match. One port, one device, full power. This charger supports PPS, so charging adapts to your device.
120W, for the Nano plus extra devices
The 120W Axessline USB charger has 2 USB-C and 2 USB-A ports. Since the Powerdot Nano Ø24 USB-C has only one power connection, you use one USB-C port of this charger for the Nano. The other three ports stay free for devices you charge directly from the charger.
An example: you power the Powerdot Nano Ø24 USB-C from one port of the 120W charger, so your laptop charges on the desktop. With the three remaining ports you simultaneously charge your phone, your earbuds and a second laptop, tucked away under your desk. The total stays within 120W, so with several devices at once the power per port is lower.
So choose based on what you connect: one phone or tablet (20W), one laptop (65W), or the Nano together with several devices (120W). All three Axessline chargers have a Europlug wall plug and work on 100 to 240 volts.
Ergonomic benefits
A charging point on your desktop will not suddenly change your posture, but it does save you awkward reaching and bending under your desk. The Powerdot Nano Ø24 USB-C keeps your workstation calm and tidy. Especially if you connect a device often, that works a lot more comfortably.
One more thing to check
Measure before you order
Make sure your desktop is suitable for a 19 mm drill hole and has a thickness of up to 30 mm. Those are the two measurements to check in advance for the Powerdot Nano Ø24 USB-C. That way you will quickly know whether the mounting point fits your workstation.
