The Bodycool Pro-X cooling vest is a smart solution for countering heat and high temperatures, whether at work, during sports or in your free time. The cooling vest uses advanced technologies to provide you with long-lasting cooling and comfort, even in the warmest conditions.
H2O technology
The H2O technology from Inuteq is a method that is applied so the vest can offer cooling. By submerging the vest in tap water for a few minutes it is activated. You then squeeze out all the excess water (do not wring!), and it is ready to be used. The cooling the vest offers is roughly 15°C below the ambient temperature, depending on airflow, temperature and humidity.
The vest works best in an environment with low to moderate humidity. The airflow determines how well the vest cools. Depending on the conditions, the vest can offer 2 to 8 hours of cooling. Has the cooling worn off? Submerge it in water again and the vest is ready for another round.
What makes the Bodycool Pro-X cooling vest so good?
The Bodycool Pro-X is a lightweight vest with cooling zones on the chest, stomach and shoulders. The lower back is fitted with a mesh fabric, as are the sides. One side has a zip so you can pull the vest over your head more easily.

Easy to clean
The Bodycool Pro-X has antibacterial properties and is machine washable. You can easily wash the vest at 40°C with a mild detergent. Then hang it to dry for long-lasting use. Hand washing extends the lifespan of the vest.

Health and safety
The Bodycool Pro-X sport cooling vest cools with plain water. It contains no chemical coolants, gels or liquids that could be released. According to Inuteq's safety data sheet, the three material layers (polyester outer fabric, super-absorbent fibres and polyester lining) contain no hazardous components and are non-toxic.
Under normal use and direct skin contact there are no known risks for the Bodycool Pro-X sport cooling vest. The material is odourless. All Inuteq products comply with the European REACH regulation (1907/2006/EC).
Wash before first use
Are you wearing the product over light or light-coloured clothing? Then wash it once before you use it for the first time. When first dampened, new textiles can release a little excess dye. That is normal with coloured fabrics. Washing it beforehand rinses out that loose dye, so your clothing stays clean.

Frequently asked questions
"Does the water you submerge the vest in have to be cold?"
No, it doesn't necessarily have to be cold. Just put a bucket under the tap, fill it and submerge the vest!
"Do you get wet from the vest if you put it on after submerging it?"
As long as you squeeze the vest out well, you won't get soaking wet. At most it may release a little water. To prevent this, you can pat the vest dry with a towel after squeezing it out.
