Why the Ergohuman Elite2 office chair?
New coat, better components
The new Ergohuman Elite has been updated. Not only in looks, but also in performance. Compared with its more expensive predecessor, the Luxury, it has even been improved a notch. The lumbar support now has adjustable counter-pressure that can be set up to 40% firmer. On the current Luxury, that counter-pressure cannot be adjusted.
The Elite2 is also fitted with the latest 5D armrests. The front section of the armrest can tilt up further, giving you extra support while reading a book or holding your phone, for example.
Widely adjustable office chair
The Ergohuman Elite2 office chair has many adjustable components. The seat, seat depth and backrest tilt can all be adjusted with one modest lever. There is an extra small lever to tilt the seat as well. It can be tilted 2 degrees negative (forwards). This also applies to the backrest, which can take on a 6 degree negative tilt. You can adjust the backrest from a seated position. If you are a little less flexible (or a bodybuilder), it is best to stand up briefly to adjust the backrest. The armrest is 5D and can be adjusted in the following ways:
- Height
- Width
- Depth
- Partial tilt (front)
- Angle
Aluminium base
The five-point base of the Elite2 is made entirely of aluminium and has been tested for a static load of 1136 kilograms. That is more than enough for most of us. There are, by the way, many more aluminium parts to be found on the Elite2. The underside of the seat is also built from aluminium, as is a large part of the armrests and the structure to which the backrest is attached.
Upholstered seat and mesh backrest
The Elite2 has a mesh backrest and an upholstered seat. An upholstered seat offers slightly firmer support. Thanks to the mesh cover on the backrest, no heat builds up and you stay pleasantly cool even on the warmest days.
Adjustability Elite2
The Ergohuman Elite2 is a fairly large chair in itself. Fortunately, it suits many body sizes thanks to its adjustability. The seat height can be adjusted between 45 and 55 cm. The seat can slide 5 cm, the headrest is adjustable 8 cm in height and can tilt 55 degrees, the backrest can tilt a full 138 degrees in total and is adjustable 6.5 cm in height. The 5D armrests in particular provide extra adjustability, allowing you to position them nicely under your shoulders.
Reclining backrest with counter-pressure
The backrest of the Elite2 can be unlocked so you can sit a little more actively. Using the extra rotating lever, you set the counter-pressure. Choose a counter-pressure that keeps you from falling backwards easily, but that does not fire you out of your chair either.
What makes an office chair so good?
Because you sit at your desk for long periods, you need a chair that provides you with every convenience, so you get through your days relaxed and free of complaints. Office chairs often not only offer these features, but also make them adjustable. That way you can always find the right posture that you and your body need at that moment. This keeps you energetic, healthy and productive.
Get the most out of this product
The Elite2 has many components that are adjustable. Take your time during the first few days to find the best settings for you, so you can optimise your relaxation. You also have the option to expand the chair with a matching headrest. This option can be selected at the top right of the page.
Do not miss this either
The Ergohuman has been certified by Greenguard with the GOLD certificate. This guarantees that there are no negative effects on indoor air quality when using the Ergohuman. The chair is also 98% recyclable. In addition, the Ergohuman Elite2 complies with the (N)EN 1335 standard.
