Why the Balergo Dynamic balance stool?

The Balergo balance stool was designed by a health technologist. The movable seat ensures an active sitting posture. This activates your leg and back muscles, leading to a healthy sitting posture without a rounded back. Furthermore, blood circulation is stimulated, keeping you active and thus more concentrated.

The seat tilts completely freely forwards, to the left and to the right. For safety, tilting backwards is blocked. The seat consists of cold foam and polypress and is upholstered with artificial leather.

Choose the right version

The stool stands on a standard five-point plastic base with glides and a diameter of 48 cm. The seat is standard height adjustable between 49 and 67 cm, suitable for a body height between 1.50 and 1.80 metres. You can also choose an XL gas spring if you are taller than 1.80 metres. You can then adjust the seat height between 55 and 79 cm.

Fabric or artificial leather

Both the fabric (Concorde) and artificial leather versions are ideal for regular use, both at home and in the office. The Concorde fabric is PE (polyester-nylon) and has a Martindale rub value of 40,000. Its appearance is a high-quality 'pilot leather' look.

The PVC artificial leather version is 1.2 mm thick and also suitable for regular use.

Extra dynamic

The Dynamic version features a foot that moves with you. This primarily ensures better support, and because the moving part is low to the ground, it is more focused on stimulating gross movements, for example, of the legs.

What makes a balance stool so good?

Sitting for long periods can make you drowsy, which negatively affects your concentration and productivity. A balance stool keeps you active because its mobility stimulates your muscles and promotes blood circulation. Using a balance stool therefore not only increases your productivity but also strengthens your muscles and improves your sitting posture.

It is recommended to place your feet beneath you. This puts your body in a posture comparable to cycling or horse riding. This is the posture that will give your body the most benefits. Furthermore, it is advised to use the Balergo for a maximum of two hours at a time due to the strain on your muscles and the somewhat firm seat.
