The pads are the only part of the Carpio that rests against your palm all day. They take on skin oils, sweat and daily friction. A fresh pad therefore feels different from a worn-in one. The sliding base of your Carpio is far less affected.

Keep the base, replace the cushion

With the Carpio replaceable pads you do not have to set aside your whole wrist rest when the cushions are due for a change. You click the old pads off and put a new set on. The rest of your Carpio stays in use.

Swapping Carpio pads takes no tools. The pads click off and click back on, so you are done within seconds. Handy if you keep several sets in a drawer.
