Advance 2.0 trackpad
Mousetrapper's most popular model is the Advance, the current model being version 2.0. In addition to the trackpad, it has 6 programmable buttons. This programming is done using the MTkeys driver, which you can download for free from the Mousetrapper website. The Advance connects to your PC or Mac via a USB cable.

The Mousetrapper Prime is one of the most comprehensive models in the Mousetrapper range. It can be used both wired and wirelessly and has a rechargeable battery that lasts approximately 6 months on a full charge. In terms of shortcut keys, the Mousetrapper Prime goes a step further. It has 8 that you can program using the MTkeys driver.

Lite trackpad
The Lite is the current entry-level model and succeeds the Mousetrapper Office. It features the recognisable Mousetrapper 'mat'. Furthermore, it has left and right mouse buttons and scroll buttons. The Lite version is suitable for administrative and less intensive mouse work. The Lite connects to your PC or Mac using a USB cable.
Advance 2.0+ hygienic trackpad
The difference between the 2.0 and the 2.0+ lies in the wrist rests. On the 2.0, these are made of polyester, which can only be somewhat cleaned with a damp cloth. The 2.0+ features leather wrist rests. These are easy to clean with disinfectants.

Mousetrapper Product Development
In 1994, Rolf Strömberg conceived the first version of the Mousetrapper as an alternative to the 'ordinary' mouse. When you see the first version, you immediately understand how the name originated. A standard mouse was fixed in a holder, and you controlled the cursor with a steel rod. About three years later, the design was updated with an integrated wrist rest, and it wasn't until 2001 that the basis for the current Mousetrappers was established.
The idea behind the Mousetrapper's design is simple. By having a central position for the body, you can adopt a healthier working posture. You can keep your arms closer to your body, which prevents overstretching of the arm. Additionally, since 1997, every Mousetrapper has been equipped with integrated wrist rests to better support you while operating the mouse and typing on your keyboard.
The Mousetrapper works like a trackpad. The big difference is that you don't move your finger across the surface, but the entire surface itself moves. This allows you to move the cursor with more 'feel', making it immediately more suitable for precision work. The surface is made of rubber for optimal grip.
The design, development, and production process all take place in Sweden. By keeping all parts of the process in-house, Mousetrapper guarantees quality.

The Mousetrapper is an alternative to the conventional mouse. A standard flat mouse can cause discomfort in your forearm, elbow, shoulders, and neck. The Mousetrapper's design encourages a better working posture, where you keep your arms close to your body and operate both the keyboard and the mouse within shoulder width. You no longer need to reach for the mouse, and switching between operating the mouse and the keyboard is a small movement. After years of neck, arm, and shoulder complaints, the Mousetrapper mouse has been my salvation; I simply cannot tolerate a regular mouse anymore due to the working posture. Working with the Mousetrapper allows me to maintain a relaxed working posture where my shoulders don't cramp but remain against the backrest, and my forearms rest loosely on the armrests. A nice bonus is that several frequently used commands can be freely assigned to the control buttons. Only when scrolling via the pad does the cursor sometimes run away with the page.
