Why the Addit cable guide?

Tidy is neat

With the Addit cable guide, you put an end to the tangle of cables under your workstation. Thanks to its simple assembly, you'll have all loose cables neatly tidied away in no time, and this even applies to those who are all thumbs.

High quality and environmentally friendly

The supplier of the Addit, Dataflex, wanted to bring the most sustainable product possible to the market. That's why they chose to produce the product locally. This means the Addit, from sketch to the physical product in the box, has remained in the Netherlands. The product is made from 100% recycled PP (polypropylene) plastic, making it environmentally friendly too.

The cable guide consists of one base, 36 links, and one top piece. The total length is 1340mm. Each individual link is 55mm long. Because the links overlap, you can extend/shorten the guide by 35mm per link.

Dataflex states that 18 x ∅7mm cables (e.g., power cable) or 98 x ∅3mm cables (e.g., USB cable) fit into the Addit. Of course, we also tried it ourselves: we managed to fit 10 x ∅8mm cables in. Usually, you don't have more than 10 cables, so in that respect, you'll always be fine with the Addit.

What makes the Addit cable guide so good?

Although this cable guide allows you to neatly store cables, they remain easily accessible when needed. The Addit distinguishes itself from other cable guides because it is built from different components, allowing it to bend only forwards or backwards, unlike other guides that tend to curl up. Additionally, the components can be removed individually, so the guide always has a suitable length. The Addit is very suitable for a sit-stand desk, as the guide simply moves along nicely.

Which mounting option?

Choose the mounting method that suits you and your workstation: magnetic attachment to your desk frame, using the double-sided tape, or opt for more sturdiness and screw the Addit in place. Either way; all mounting options are included in the box.

In addition to a magnet for the top of the guide, there is also a magnet for halfway along the cable guide. Push the magnet into the plastic holder and click it into place halfway along the cable guide. Clamp the magnet back onto one of your desk legs. This way, the cable guide stays neatly in place, even when you adjust your desk's height.

Strong magnet, yet a bit fragile

PLEASE NOTE! At Ergowerken, we have personally experienced that the magnets have a very strong attraction. When unpacking the product, we laid out all the parts, with the two magnets separated. They were not far enough apart, causing them to snap back together. In doing so, one magnet broke into several pieces. So, be careful when separating the magnets.
