Delux Product Development

Delux was founded in 1994 in Shenzhen Bay. The company quickly grew and gained recognition in China. Starting in the IT industry, it grew into a high-tech company, applying the innovative development model of "Science Park Operation, Technology Investment and Industry". After only two years, in 1998, they expanded to other parts of the world. Later, a Delux technology factory was opened in Shenzhen and in 2002 they received ISO9001 certification. This is an international standard that sets requirements for the quality of (technological) products.

Delux continued to grow and they developed the first mouse with a vertical design in 2003. In the same year, it won the Red Dot Award, an international design prize. Not much happened in the period that followed, except that they continued to expand and the office moved several times. In 2013, Delux was awarded the National High-tech Enterprise. Over the years, new Delux products continued to be launched.

May I shake your hand?

Since its establishment 20 years ago, Delux has focused on research & development and production & sales. In the development of mice, Delux focuses, among other things, on an ergonomic line. These mouse variants all have a vertical design. Holding the mouse feels like shaking hands. This prevents complaints in the hand, wrist, and (lower) arm. This allows you to perform all your tasks in a relaxed manner.

Customer Reviews

The Wow Grip mouse probably has the most product reviews of all products in the Ergowerken range, namely 179. Sharelle purchased it due to complaints in her arm. Fortunately, she no longer suffers from them “Where I used to be afraid of developing severe RSI, I no longer worry about it.” Anja is also very enthusiastic about the Wow Grip Mouse “I'm amazed at how quickly you get used to it, it's a perfect solution.”

The Delux Mini is also regularly reviewed by our customers. It is mainly used for office work, but Nikky uses it for gaming, about which she says: “You can also use this mouse perfectly for this. As mentioned, it responds well. I wouldn't recommend it for shooters, but I can play games like Civilisation, Football Manager and ARK with it just fine.” Diana worked with a traditional mouse for 14 years and has now finally switched to a vertical mouse. She should have done it sooner. “14 years in a strained posture. And now in a natural posture.”

The Grip Mouse Plus has almost exclusively positive reviews, but also a few negative ones. Rob regrets that this model does not have customisable buttons. “That is a major shortcoming if that is precisely what is necessary.” Fortunately, we have 53 other mice in our range that do!
