Delux Seeker with display wireless right-handed black
Product description of Delux Seeker with display wireless right-handed black
Does this mouse fit my hand?
Want to find the perfect mouse? Then definitely take a quick moment to measure your hand. The image below shows exactly how to measure it. This mouse is suitable for hands with the following measurements: Hand length: smaller than 190 mmHand width: narrower than 90 mm

An ode to the Delux Seeker
The world’s first vertical mouse with an OLED screen
Careful. Once you get used to this mouse, you won’t want anything else. The Delux Seeker is so versatile that, honestly, we can hardly think of anything this mouse doesn’t have. Starting with a display on top. But wait! There is so. Much. More.
Why the Delux Seeker?
For every kind of task
With this little gem, Delux has made a seriously smart move. The Seeker has a regular scroll wheel between the standard left and right mouse buttons, so you can scroll vertically just like you’re used to. What makes the Seeker unique is the scroll wheel above the thumb, which lets you scroll horizontally in programs like Excel or Photoshop.
The Seeker has 6 buttons, including the regular left and right mouse buttons. These are also very quiet, by the way. The two buttons under the thumb make it easy to go forward and back, for example when browsing the internet. One small downside is that the ‘forward’ button is placed just a little too far away, so it may not be equally easy for everyone to reach. On top of the mouse you’ll find a DPI button, which lets you set the mouse sensitivity (800, 1200, 1600, 2400 or 4000). On the underside of the mouse there’s a button for switching between the different modes (BT5.0, 2.4G wireless connection or wired connection).
Good-looking too
The package includes a wrist rest for the mouse. You can easily attach it to the mouse using the magnetic connection. The advantage of a wrist rest is that it can help prevent wrist complaints, because you’re less tempted to move from the wrist. A downside of the wrist rest is that precise work, like photo editing, can become a bit trickier because you can move the mouse a little less freely.
Besides the wrist rest, the rear cover of the mouse is also easy to swap thanks to the magnetic connection. By default, the cover has a honeycomb pattern, giving you a backlight effect from the lighting built into the mouse. To save battery, there’s a sensor at the back of the mouse. It detects when your hand is placed on the mouse and switches off the backlight that way. If you don’t want any backlight at all, you can replace the honeycomb cover with a closed cover.
What makes the Delux Seeker so good?
Connect to 4 devices at the same time
We’ve already written quite a bit, but we’re not done yet! The Seeker also has Multiple Device Connection, which means the mouse can be used not only with your PC, but also with a tablet and even a phone. You can easily switch between up to 4(!) devices using the button on the underside of the mouse. Below you’ll find one possible setup.
| Connection | Light on underside | Device | |
| #1 | Wired | None | PC |
| #2 | 2.4G wireless | 2.4G | Laptop |
| #3 | Bluetooth 5.0 | BT1 | Phone |
| #4 | Bluetooth 5.0 | BT2 | Tablet |
When you press the button on the underside, the box marked 2.4G will light up red. That means the mouse is in 2.4G mode, and in this example it’s active on the laptop. Press it again and the mouse switches to BT1 mode, making it active on the phone. Press it once more and it goes into BT2 mode, and after one more press there’s no light on. The mouse can then be used with the cable, which is 160cm long, by the way. Finally, the current mouse mode is also shown on the OLED screen at the top.
Horizontal scrolling
What was the shortcut for horizontal scrolling again? Control + scroll? Nope, that’s zooming. Command + scroll maybe? Nope, only works in Photoshop. Oh wait, this mouse has a second scroll wheel!
Delux has placed a second scroll wheel on the left side of the Seeker, just above the thumb. Move it upwards and your screen, for example in Excel, smoothly moves to the right. Scroll the wheel down and the screen moves back to the left. The reason the scroll wheel moves up/down instead of left/right is to help prevent thumb complaints. Nice one, Delux!
Get the most out of your Delux Seeker with the driver
Custom settings
As if all that wasn’t enough, the Seeker also has several adjustable options. On the Delux website you can download a driver that lets you customise all the mouse settings. Under the downloads section, you’ll find the driver manual.
Delux has developed a surprisingly intuitive and clear driver for the Seeker. With this driver, you can adjust all kinds of things, from aesthetic settings like RGB lighting to creating macros for productivity. For the wireless models, the driver also shows how much battery is left.
Important: To make sure the driver correctly applies all button changes, it’s best to keep the mouse wired while programming it.
Buttons and lighting
Adjusting the different lighting modes is fun, but you can also switch the lighting off if it gets annoying. With the ‘button settings’, you can customise all button functions. Not going to use the standard ‘forward’ and ‘back’ navigation buttons near the thumb, but do you work a lot with data in Excel? Change them to ‘cut’ and ‘paste’.
‘Macro management’ is pretty extensive, because the driver can record mouse movements and clicks as well as all keyboard strokes. So you can even build macros that combine all three.
Other settings
The other settings are about mouse sensitivity (DPI) and the USB report rate/polling rate, which indicates how quickly the computer translates mouse data to the screen. A higher report rate can be especially useful when gaming. Delux has also thought carefully about the DPI levels. You can personalise the 5 standard values. From the default values 800-1200-1600-2400-4000, the first few may feel a bit too slow. In that case, you could go for something like 1500-2000-2500-3000-4000 instead.
All these settings are loaded into a profile. It’s possible to create multiple profiles with different settings linked to each one. Depending on the programs you work in, you can then choose the profile that suits you best.
Don’t miss this either
A little too much of a good thing?
Maybe all this info has you losing the plot a bit, and this versatile mouse is actually a little too versatile for you. We totally get it. In that case, you can check out the wireless version without display, or the wired version. To make things easy, we’ve listed all the differences on the right-hand side of this page.
Stickers
Notice your mouse feels a bit stiff on the underside? There are white-grey stickers on the pressure points underneath the mouse. You can simply peel these off. After that, it should glide smoothly over your desk or mouse mat.
