The scissor mechanism of the keys makes this ergonomic keyboard very thin. The Ergo Compact is also very light and therefore easy to take anywhere.
An ergonomic keyboard is more compact than a traditional keyboard. This allows you to keep the mouse closer to your body, reducing tension in the arm and shoulder. Furthermore, the keyboard is flat. You don't have to bend your wrists as much to reach the keys.
An additional advantage of the flat and compact design is the ability to take it anywhere in a bag or laptop bag.
The compact keyboard has all the buttons you would find on a larger one. For example, it includes a numeric section. However, this needs to be operated with an extra action. The 'NumLock' button at the top of the keyboard changes certain keys into the numeric pad.
At the top right of the page, you can optionally order a silicone protective cover for the keyboard. This fits perfectly around the keys and protects the keyboard from liquids and crumbs.
