Your favourite walking shoes took years to fit just right. You don't swap them for a pair of chunky winter boots just like that. With these insoles you don't have to: your shoes simply get a warm heart. (Or rather, warm toes.)

Why the Glovii GW2 heated insoles?

Warmth in the shoe you already own

You put the Glovii GW2 heated insoles into the shoe or boot you already wear. The battery sits in the insole itself, with the button and charging port at the heel end. So there is no cable or loose box hanging at your ankle.

On the lowest level the GW2 lasts up to 9 hours on one charge. That is enough for a long walk or a working day outdoors.

Heating at the front of the insole

The carbon fibre heating element lies in the front part of the GW2, under your toes and forefoot. The element heats with infrared and spreads the warmth evenly across the heated area. Your heel is not heated directly.

The handy thing about the Glovii GW2 is that you don't need to wear anything new. Your walking shoe, work shoe or boot stays in use, it just gets a warm insole. That makes the GW2 a practical choice if your feet get cold quickly, you work outdoors or you stand on the sidelines for a long time.

Get the most out of your Glovii GW2

Trimming to size

The GW2 comes in M (shoe size 35-40) and L (41-46). Within that size you trim the insole to length yourself, along the size lines printed on it. Use your old insole as a template and cut a few millimetres too little rather than too much: you can always trim a bit more.

Use it instead of your regular insole

Take the existing insole out of your shoe before you put the GW2 in. If you place it on top, your shoe may get too tight and the warmth fits less closely to your foot.

Charging

You charge the GW2 with the included USB mains adapter and charging cable with two connectors, so both insoles charge at the same time. If you don't use the insoles for a while, fully charge them at least every 6 months, as the Glovii manual advises.

Not for the washing machine

The Glovii GW2 is not suitable for the washing machine. According to the manual you only spot clean the insoles and let them dry flat. Wringing, bleaching and ironing are not allowed.

Everything together in a pouch

The set includes a pouch. It keeps the GW2, the remote control and the charging cable together when you take them along.
