Meet the Headcool Smart Zip; the cooling cap from Inuteq. With this comfortable, lightweight cap, you can keep yourself cool on hot summer days at work, in your free time, or while exercising.
Wet yet dry
The cap's cooling works based on INUTEQ-DRY. This is a cooling system that provides cooling through the evaporation of water. You fill the cap with a maximum of 100ml of tap water, via the zip lock closure at the back of the cap. Despite the addition of water, the cap remains dry on the inside and outside.
What makes the Headcool Smart Zip cooling cap so good?
By keeping your head (literally) cool, you can better regulate your temperature in hot conditions. This provides a comfortable feeling, increasing endurance and performance levels.
In addition, a cap naturally provides sun protection. It prevents the wearer's head and face from getting sunburnt.

Instant cooling
Once you have filled the cap with tap water (do not overfill!), cooling begins almost immediately. The cooling temperature is approximately 15ºC lower than the ambient temperature.
For optimal cooling, airflow is necessary. The cooling performs optimally at low to medium humidity; for about 8 to 72 hours. Has the cooling worn off? Refill the cap with water and you can enjoy wonderful refreshment again.
Colours and sizes
The cap is only available in one size; one size. With the strap including buckle at the back, you can make the cap tighter or looser. The Headcool Smart Zip is available in black, yellow, and silver-grey.
Washing instructions
The cap can be machine washed, provided you wash it at a maximum of 40ºC, with a mild detergent. The cap is not suitable for steaming or ironing. Therefore, let it air dry (possibly hanging).

The Headcool Smart Zip verkoelende pet cools with plain water. It contains no chemical coolants, gels or liquids that could leak out. According to the Inuteq safety data sheet, the three material layers (polyester outer fabric, super absorbent fibres and polyester lining) contain no hazardous components and are non-toxic.
Under normal use and direct skin contact, no risks are known for the Headcool Smart Zip verkoelende pet. The material is odourless. All Inuteq products comply with the European REACH regulation (1907/2006/EC).
